Costs

Training costs are invoiced on a monthly basis and will include training fees, agistment, veterinary and medication fees, farrier charges, transportation, staff charges, feed supplements etc. Monthly invoices will vary in accordance with the horses training program, with the most expensive time being when your horse is in full work and the least expensive time being when your horse is spelling. It is recommended that a monthly budget of around $200 per month for a 10% share in a racehorse would be sufficient to cover most ordinary expenses for your horse.
